The CM Punjab E-Taxi Scheme 2026 has officially been inaugurated by Maryam Nawaz Sharif on 26 February 2026 in Lahore. During the inauguration ceremony held at a private hotel, the e-taxi scheme portal login was formally opened for online applications. In the first phase, the Punjab Government will distribute 1,100 electric vehicles (EVs) under this scheme.

Under the scheme, the Punjab government will cover 50 percent of the down payment for male drivers and 60 percent for female drivers.
